I am Cancer rising and it is june 2024. In April a tree fell and crushed the trailer I have been renting from my Aunt and Uncle for the past four years. They decided they were not willing to put another trailer or other type of unit there for me to live in and so I am cut loose from my familly home. This is a place I have lived off and on since I was 16, and is no longer available for me. 4th house? Crazy literal on this one. The tree fell on the 6th two days before the ecplipse. My work has been supportive and solid for me. The rental market is insane where I am from and I have not yet found a place to live. I am house sitting and camping in my van at my work in between.

Chris I love your work. I have learned so much from you and want to say thank you! I have a question, where dose the meaning of the houses come from. Like why dose the 3rd house mean our thoughts. Where did that meaning come from? I understand them intuitively, the 10th house is the most seen part of the chart, but is that all she wrote?

Reminder that books and writing/reading in general were extremely extremely rare during the timeframe of the Hermeticum, so it wouldn’t quite be as “popular” as Deepak Chopra. These texts would’ve been written by highly trained priests and/or extraordinarily wealthy and educated people who would’ve even had time to dedicate to anything other than food.

Such a great episode, I'm a Gemini Rising, so jupiter moved through my 12th house, it was a year of connecting spiritually, lots of endings and just working behind the scenes. When Uranus and Mars were in opposition my leg snapped in half at a competition and I had emergency surgery, spending 4 days in hospital, this was a HUGE part of my year and so much healing has been a theme

Since this episode: the surgeon general wants to put warnings similar to tobacco on social media sites related to the impact on developing children. Personally, I’m definitely learning what I had a hard time figuring out with having the rulers of the 8th and 9th in conjunction with the 9th ruler in domicile and the 8th in detriment (libra). This definitely came to attention with Jupiter in Gemini. The Gemini part is that Gemini relates to the Iranian Zoroastrian tradition, along with ancient Babylonian (if you look at history), but courses are going a lot into the Zoroastrian tradition and their astrological system. Jupiter is also the bigger picture, and detriment shows up with a topic like, the 3 magi were taught a long form planetary cycle and zodiac system to locate the reincarnation of Zoroaster who was to become the vessel of the solar principle of god who’d be despised and, through death, merge with the spirit of the earth. That tradition carried forward through the Greco Roman period, it wasn’t some isolated event that was spontaneous, these were over many thousands of years. Short, there are only 12 great spiritual teachers and one is present at all times, the others rotate by a cycle related to the visibility of the zodiac signs. 3 great periods that are still known. One is a “fallen angel period”, influence that the physical world is a maya or illusion and stop the reincarnation cycle rejecting the material, the period of Kali Yuga which is when “spiritual sight” is lost, this is the 2nd with the incarnation of “Christ” bringing logical linear scientific thinking, 3rd is the end of Kali Yuga when spiritual sight is regained through logical linear scientific thinking but is also the period referred to in texts related to the last incarnation referred to as the antichrist, or Ahriman. That’s a big part of Christian free will as you have free will to choose any of the 3 sides. Reject the material, only see material, or see the divine in balancing both symbolized by the vesica pisces. Rulers of the 8th and 9th.. 😆 Tip of the iceberg. These planetary cycle systems are really cool, I’m hoping to find other sources for the full system as it does exist. The really cool part about the Jupiter “larger view” was seeing how each culture has a “rulership” of a sign that’s in context part of a larger whole and how each of the cultural epochs link together. What may be seen in a “collective unconscious” is actually pantheons that represent planets in each sign. Like, the Egyptian pantheon symbolizing planetary combinations in taurus. Courses did bring up that I may (trying to not think about right now) need to learn Indian astrology as sidereal may be very relevant, but learning the moon systems may be vital. India is associated with cancer in this system btw.

I fear we'll find a ways to maintain exploitation of AI instead of continuing to evolve it into more uses of accommodation like with Randy Travis. Individual data rights and subsequent protections, being able to opt out of policies instead of forced to accept terms & conditions each time an app updates, being able to opt out of facial recognition software, knowing who has what data points/property of ours, will need to ramp up. Just like digital privacy rights were when the internet was accessible to the public.

This was awesome Chris! A few Jupiter stories for me: - Aquarius, 6th house Jupiter-Saturn conjunction in Dec 2020 coincided with my decision to become full-time self-employed in private practice (I work as a psychotherapist). [Natal planets in Aquarius: sun, Venus, Jupiter) - Pisces, 7th house: I don't have a partner, but my client base really expanded. [No natal planets] - Aries, 8th house: I got an inheritance from my grandmother and got approved for a mortgage, the inheritance becoming part of my down deposit. Big expansion to happy debt for this transit 😅. [No natal planets] - 9th house transit has been more difficult to pin down. There has definitely been an expansion to themes related to Uranus though - moving into my own home granted me some independence that was very much needed. Also an expansion of Taurus topics: since being in my new home last August I started growing plants, making sourdough bread, kombucha, vinegar, etc. I never was such a homemaker before. It might be relevant that Jupiter is the lord of my 4th house and that 2023 was a Venus 2nd house profection year. I will also say that since moving into my new home I have been feeling like I have been living my best life! [Natal features: north node and lot of fortune] Upcoming Gemini 10th house transit features my natal moon, Chiron and midheaven. Looking forward to seeing what the Jupiter-Saturn square brings for the next chapter of my business!

The Taurus rising example of buying a house, losing it and then buying a car and Chris mentioning his ic and parents gave me a bit of a realization: my dad is a Taurus rising and my mom has a Gemini moon in the 9th house. In 2012 they’d attempted to buy a house from my aunt but never worked out a contract or any legal papers so a year later when my aunt decided she no longer wanted to sell it, they looked for a new house to buy. They found one within a few months. In 2016 they found out the previous owner of the house they’d bought had never paid any taxes on it so they found themselves in more debt which resulted in the city taking the property. 2020 we moved back into the house they’d attempted to buy from my aunt in 2012 because it was the cheapest option. Now in 2024, they’re looking at houses to buy again. I was wondering why dad was finally on board in finding a new house again- maybe this is a part of it!

In terms of a one-world currency, a mark of the beast will be required to buy or sell. A one-world government and a one-world currency will both exist under the rule of the AntiChrist in the last days. At the least, some sort of world system will be inaugurated by the beast. It is talked about in the end times in the book of Revelation.

The astrology of the labor strikes is interesting. The Unions agreed not to strike during WW2 as that would harm the war effort. It is crazy to think about but the class war was literally put on hold for 4 years. I wonder what the astrology of the Taft-Hartley Act of 1947. That was another big American Uranus in Gemini moment. Robert Taft was a precursor to Barry Goldwater and Ronald Reagan.

I have personal planetary sigils. Have posted sun and venus, on venus star point. On the wall. To power myself in stormy days. It is on my progr sun. And for saturn too. That sits on natal venus,gen r, nat Sa in libra give me hope and push. Everybody have something now big in life. Sigils are made electional. And have waited like year and half..more. Omg! This was amazing… we always get to see Chris talk about astrology with peers in an intellectual setting, and we get to see his educate us with the professor “hat” on through the podcast. Getting to watch him interact, interpret, advise and also provide additional insights to students in a client setting was fantastic!!! The closest thing we get to that, is when Chris reads celebrity charts, but we don’t get that interpersonal and live exchange. Even if these are “on the fly,” and short, quick assessments… this was really great to watch. I’d happily view these kinds of episodes regularly… and I clearly have to sign up to patreon because this was awesome to see Chris put this into practice for us, as watchers!

I have a Gemini Rising, and while I knew it was huge to me, unless you know me you’d never know i was so different. I have 3 personal planets (including chart ruler here), and i started a new therapy journey officially around the time Jupiter went into Taurus. I was doing what is called EMDR (Eye Movement desensitization Reprogramming) which helps traumatic events feel less alarming or panic inducing. I’ve also had to come to terms with having high functioning anxiety. However, this has done wonders for helping me regulate my nervous system!. (That’s the simplified version of it). Thank you for these podcasts, love seeing these examples! ❤

Wow so on point. My daughter is leaving for college in August which is when I decided to start dating again. I'm traveling to 5 different countries in July, I'm feeling a weird hostile energy from one of my friends and I don't know what's going on with her but I feel something coming down the line. Re: Ted Kennedy siblings- the eldest Kennedy sibling- Joe Jr., anointed family scion- was a WWII navy pilot killed in action over England in 1944. After his death, Joe Sr.’s presidential ambitions for son number one were redirected to JFK, son number two. So Ted actually lost all three of his male siblings-

question and I may just not be understanding but when we looked at Alan White's chart I was under impression we're looking at each day in that same year to distinguish, because its the first three months from birth for a 90 year generic progressive chart, now why did we continue with feb 20th through out every year?
